Why daily puzzles work

A daily puzzle is a shared, finite ritual: everyone in the world gets the same grid, it takes ten minutes, and tomorrow there's another. The weekday difficulty curve means Monday is a warm-up and Sunday is an event — and because every Zaney puzzle is machine-verified to have exactly one solution, the ritual never ends in a broken grid.
